There is ample space to go running around Tatton Park, with 1,000 acres to enjoy. Most of the park is excellent for walking all year round, but in wetter months there may be patches which can be a little slippery especially for running. This wouldn't put me off running here because the site is so big and there are plenty of options available.
There are lots of great trails with amazing viewpoints of the park. Tatton Gardens are part of the National Trust property which is located at the heart of the park. You can also catch a glimpse of an aircraft or two passing over the park. There are also some lovely waterways spread around the parkland which are great scenery for jogging around. The park is home to deer and care should be taken not to scare the deer as you run around. Deer rutting for example takes place in October and November and the deer can act aggressively during this period.
