Jamaica was the scene for today's running scene re-enactment. I didn’t have a push cart to hand so had to make do with a shopping trolley. Travelling at speed with a two wheeled shopping trolley was surprisingly difficult with the wheels having a mind of there own as they bumped over the gravelly pathway.
Delamere Forest was the setting for the run. This was chosen for the sloped trail for the 'Old Pale' circular walk. The slopes were gentle which made for a great setting for my first 'push cart race'. I managed to find a quiet spot along the track not too far from the car park.
Running along the pathway pushing a shopping trolley wearing a bright Caribbean themed jumper didn't exactly make me look discrete. I'm not sure if it was luck that kept the fellow rambles beyond 200 metres away or my appearance, but either way the emptiness saved a little embarrassment.
