Today's running scene takes me to Tegg's Nose for my replication of the 'Going on an adventure' run from the Hobbit.
Teggs Nose was chosen for it's narrow paths with steep hillside on one side and the open countryside on the other for replicating the scenes from the film.
Wrapping up warm was a must for today with the ground still a bit snowy from the previous week of snow and the winds still icy cold.
Before filming I had a walk around Tegg's Nose searching for the best spots to film but ended up choosing a location right at the start of the walk.
Wearing a cape and a waistcoat did make me feel a little self conscious. While I was filming during a quieter part of the day, there were still a handful or more groups of people that made me feel a little embarrassed. I'm not sure if that was because of the cape, or the fear that one of the groups saw the four attempts to button up the waistcoat.
The scene from the film included a few leaps over fences which I decided to skip within my own filming. That was in fear of crashing flat on my face following a slip on the ice, or a mistimed jump leading to another trip to A&E.
